Rockland Center for the Arts presents 3 exhibits. The prefabricated house has been, and continues to be, not only a reflection on the house as a replicable object of design but also as a critical agent in the discourse of sustainability, and architectural invention, it is a source of societal class and social structure, family communication, or the deterioration of our very core of existence.
Three separate exhibitions based on this subject include a solo exhibit, “A Distant Embrace”, works by Robert Hite. “Dwellings” with artists Eric Cremers, Jennie Chien, Lynn Cornelius, Susan Cox, Kevin Frances, Leonard Freed, Hao Ni, and Charlotte Schulz. “Home” is a smaller group show of selected artists.
