Recovering Henry Varnum Poor: Poor's Contribution to the Federal Arts Project of the 1930 & 1940

Henry Varnum Poor was a local artist who worked in ceramics, created frescoes, oil paintings designed homes and more. In the 1920s Poor gained recognition as a painter and became one the leading artists of his day. Many of his works are on display at major museums through the Untied States. There will be 6 lectures at Suffern Free Library presented by Dr. Chuck Stead with guests Geoffrey Welch and Janet Burnett. Click HERE fore the libraries website.
