Suzanna Frosch started off as a fiber artist focused on the architectonic elements of woven cloth. She pursued a career as a textile designer, working for such notable firms as Brunschwig & Fils, Calvin Klein and Donna Karan. In her collage, photography and sculptural work, one can see the apparent patterns, layers and textures of a weaver while still creating space and depth. In Excavated Fragments she builds surfaces suggestive of nature’s inherent symmetry, awkward incongruities and precarious balances. Exhibit Opening - Sept. 8, 1-4 pm.
