A Community Arts Partnership Event of the Women’s Storytelling Project

 Rockland Center for the Arts will present a Community Arts Partnership Event in conjunction with 95 ½ Main’s Katie Elevitch and the Women’s Storytelling Project (WSP).  The partnership event for women, will include an introductory workshop led by Elevitch using techniques of storytelling on Thursday, November 15, 2018.  There will also be a performance, 8:00-9:00pm, from past participants.  Both events are free.

Hope, Fear & The Need for Change

Rockland Center for the Arts will hold a Poetry Slam on Climate Change, Human Consumption and Sustainability on May 24th.  All aspiring poets are invited to share their passions and creative writings regarding our planet’s sustainability, human consumption and the effects of climate change.  Poetry will be in response to The Tipping Point exhibition currently on view or the Advancing Climate Change Communication panel discussion that took place on May 12th at RoCA.  Open Mic.  Free to participate and free to audience.
